Anna Soltys is a Chicago based singer/songwriter with a captivating new sound. Anna's unique vocal strings sit on a bed of seasoned musical arrangements melting together a fresh kind of unfamiliar "familiar." 'Lone Blues' is a song specially written, dedicated and inspired by the late Karen Dalton, a New York City singer in the '60's associated with the Greenwich Village folk music scene, and particularly Bob Dylan. Gone to soon, Dalton's death was a result of a heroin overdose, leaving behind, only her voice, her talent, and her great inspiration. La G Productions is proud to present “Wet Velvet,” The OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO by Anna Soltys and the Familiar (Larry Beers, John Pirruccello, David Smith, and Greg Hirte). “Wet Velvet” is an original song written by Anna Soltys and Gina Fontanini. The creative duo has collectively composed numerous songs together and are pleased to release “Wet Velvet” is the their debut video as co-writers.

Recorded and mixed at Rax Trax Recording by Chicago’s Rick Barnes, “Wet Velvet” was shot by Jose Martinez Jr and Gina Fontaini at Heaven Art Gallery owned by Alma Wieser and features art installations by the talented artist, Daniel Shea.
